Welcome to Our Blog.

The Blog is a place we like to share some of our recent photo sessions, talk about the amazing people we get to work with, and let you in on a little bit of our crazy lives. We are a wife and husband team, who love our job and love working together. That's a photo of us on the right we took during a snow storm in Central Park. Leave it to us to visit New York during one of the worst snow storms in 60 years! Of course it did make for a great photo. We hope you stick around to enjoy some of our work and get to know us. We promise to share some of our crazy adventures. If you feel like it be sure to show us some love by leaving us Blog comments, they always make us feel good. Thank you for visiting! ~Brandy & Justin

Matt & Wendy's Wedding ~ Salem Wedding Photographers ~ McCloud Photography

We recently photographed Matt & Wendy's wedding and have so many images I want to post. I have had a hard time limiting it to a few to share. In fact, I had so many images, I decided to break their wedding into two posts.

Not only was Matt and Wendy's wedding beautiful but it was also full of sweet moments. We had so much fun photographing their day and it has been a joy to look through the images and see the excitement that shines through in their photos.

A big thank you to Matt, Wendy, and their families for being so wonderful to us.

Congratulations Matt and Wendy! We wish you much happiness.

Their gorgeous wedding location was Zenith Vineyard, their unique cake was by Edelweiss Cakes, their beautiful flowers were from Penguin Flowers and their amazing food was by Vibrant Table.

On the left of Wendy is her cousin, Anna, who's wedding we photographed in 2006 at St. Thomas Becket Church & Whisper-n-Oaks and on the right of Wendy is her twin sister Sally who's wedding we photographed in 2008 at Beckenridge Vineyard. We love weddings where we get to see past wedding couples.

Baby Cathy ~ McCloud Photography ~ Newborn Photographers

There is little in life sweeter and more innoscent then a newborn. Getting the opportunity to document a baby in the first few days of their life is an amazing honor. What a wonderful newborn session we had with baby Cathy. We had the chance to photograph Cathy when she was just a little over a week old. Of course, we also took some photos of big sister and one of our favorite dogs, Jasmine.

A big congratulations to our clients, David and Julie, on this perfect new addition to their family. Thank you for allowing us to capture yet another special moment in your lives.

We're in Vegas at WPPI

Once a year photographers from around the world gather for the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International convention. We have the opportunity to take some great classes, see all the latest products at the tradeshow, network with other photographers, and of course, have some fun.

We are so excited about all the things we have learned from this week. There will be some fun new things to come!

Matt & Wendy's Wedding ~ Moments ~ Salem Oregon Wedding Photographer

I am working on Matt and Wendy's wedding photos and will post more later. But for now, I just had to share this moment right after they walked back up the isle from saying "I do".

I just love the emotion in these images of Matt and Wendy celebrating the becoming of husband and wife. It is capturing these moments in life that make me love my job.

I promise more to come soon.
