Our Proposal Story....as told by Justin

I usually let Brandy do all the blogging but today I took over so I could share a few special things.

Four years ago today was one of the greatest days of my life! It was on this day that Brandy said “YES” on becoming my wife.

It all started when Brandy opened the door with her cheerfully warm smile on our first date. She was truly an angel. As we began spending so much time together, it became very obvious to me that Brandy was unlike anyone I had ever known. Her amazing heart that made me feel like no other. Her compassionate approach to the world around her and the people she came into contact with. Her passion for life, determination and continuous drive excited me. Her incredible intelligence and abundance of knowledge was unheard of. As our feelings continued to grow, I knew quickly that Brandy was absolutely perfect for me and I couldn’t image not sharing the rest of my life with her.

So, on this day, four years ago, I drove Brandy over to Newport for what would be a memorable trip. After a romantic dinner, Brandy and I bundled up for an evening on the beach. As our evening of laughing and chatting continued, I knew the time was right. Brandy was the woman I had longed for my entire life. Alongside our fire, I anxiously reached into my pocket, pulled out her engagement ring and took a knee as I asked Brandy to marry me. Her surprise and excitement exploded into an amazing feeling that I will never forget. Her beautiful smile shining with glee lit up the beach that perfect evening.

Not a day goes by that I don’t ask myself how I became so lucky to have such an amazing woman to spend my life with. Thank you baby for making my dreams come true!

I love you and always will.

The snapshot below is one I took in downtown San Francisco while we were traveling for one of our destination weddings. I love this image because this is Brandy. It just shows that there is not much that can stop her. And yes, even though the luggage weighed as much as she did, she made it all the way to the subway and through the airport.

Justin, I am exceedingly proud of the fine man you have become. A good man is not too proud to openly show and speak of the love he has for his wife. Very nice
